Mady organized a panel centered around religion in Israel-Palestine. Obviously, there was expected to be some discourse regarding the relationship between Israel-Palestine and Judaism and Islam. However, the panelists recognized their differing views and were content to speak about it. The first panelist was Bishop John Harvey Taylor, an Episcopalian bishop. He recognized that there might not be "one correct view" and that the beauty of religion comes from the ability to find faith in other meanings. Eliana Kya discussed that "being Jewish is something that I practice, not something that I am," to show her relationship. Marium Mohideem represented the Palestinean ideas (not generalizing all of her ideas). Eliana and Marium demonstrated how important it was to recognize it not as a religious issue, but as a geopolitical one. Mady was a fantastic moderator and handled unexpected situations very well.
